Our vineyard is located south of Des Moines between the towns of St. Mary’s and St. Charles. Our name, Two Saints, is derived from our location and our belief in the importance of place in our wine-making.
The first vines were planted
in April 2003. Eventually, we'll reach our goal of 20 acres
of grapes. Until then, we'll tend to our current five acres
and the 10 grape varieties now in the vineyard:
- Chambourcin
- Chardonel
- Marechal Foch
- St. Vincent
- Steuben
|
- Chancellor
- Frontenac
- St. Pepin
- Seyval Blanc
- Traminette
